Meetings at Your Specified Location
(Coaching only; this may be at your office, a coffee shop, or even outdoors. A fee for my travel time will apply.)
Fees and Insurance
In addition to your session time, my fee covers time spent in between appointments on various supplemental tasks such as: phone calls, research for other resources you may need, reviewing your progress, preparing needed paperwork, and most importantly, considering how to best help you. I accept checks or cash, internet-based bank direct pay transfers, and credit cards with a convenience fee.
I am an Out-of-Network provider for all insurance plans. If you have a PPO plan, I will provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please email me for an insurance benefits worksheet to clarify your plan’s fee reimbursements. Mental health coverage varies by plan. Please be aware your insurance company will require several weeks to process your receipts for reimbursement.

At this time, I do not have any sliding scale openings. Please check out Open Path Collective for low fee services.
Cancellation Policy
There is a 48-hour cancellation window for all appointments. Please cancel or reschedule your appointment 48-hours in advance as you will be responsible for the full appointment fee.
What to Expect
Initial Phone Consultation
We will talk on the phone for 20 minutes to answer all your questions and help you figure out if I am the right professional to best meet your needs at this time.
Before the First Appointment
Once your appointment has been scheduled, I will email a confirmation with the necessary forms for you to complete online before your first appointment. The registration covers information I need to allow us to successfully work together; as well as provide you more details about my business practices and policies.
The First Appointment
We typically spend 75 minutes together to review your expectations, discuss your needs, and most importantly allow time for us to get to know each other and create a working relationship. We will review your current health and resilience levels, as well as relevant past therapy or coaching experiences, in order to co-create an appropriate and useful plan. If you need additional time, you may extend your first appointment up to 120 minutes for a prorated fee based upon availability. Some clients value an extended first meeting because they have waited a long time to face their concerns, and are finally ready to unburden themselves and receive the support they need. If relevant, I use my professional perspective to help you make this decision based upon your energy, focus, and well-being during the meeting. We always work at a pace that promotes your sense of safety and stability to support your growth process.
Follow Up Appointments
We will choose an appointment schedule that best facilitates your healing and growth in a safe and trustworthy manner. Appointments are typically 50-60 minutes weekly or biweekly, and can be modified based on your needs, at a prorated fee depending on availability. Eventually as you feel better or make progress with your therapy or coaching goals, appointments will be scheduled every 2-3 weeks or even once a month.
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE NOTICE
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
